BUSINESS FOR THE WORLD
Spiritual Business Network (SBN) invites you to "Business for the
World" - An International Business Conference which will take place
in Rungstedgaard, Denmark 10th-12th October 2007.
The purpose of this Conference is to explore:
· What is spiritual business? How spiritual leadership practices can
complement and benefit today's business practices
· Why do we need a spiritual business? The great possibilities for
businesses to support sustainable development locally and globally
· How can we do this? How to build spiritual business practices and
networks, which can support each other now and in the future.
The forum is an opportunity for business executives, professional
academics, political leaders, spiritual guides, and others with a
strong interest in spiritual business and its future place in the
world, to gather in an inspiring environment and share experiences,
discuss perspectives and define urgent tasks for businesses and
global sustainability.
The meeting format will consist of the powerful "Open Space
Technology", which is a different and effective way for organizations
and communities to deal with critical issues, and to voice their
passions and concerns. In Open Space all participants can learn from
each other and everybody has a responsibility for the outcome of the
meeting. The goal of an Open Space meeting is to create time and
space for people to engage deeply and creatively around issues of
concern to them. And it will result in transformative experiences for
the individuals and the groups involved.
Key representatives from various international organizations are
gathering to join in the debate.
People will gather in the beautiful surroundings of Rungstedgaard -
25 km north from Copenhagen, in an old manor house placed in a park
with a nice view to the sea. The Conference Center is situated close
to the birthplace of Karen Blixen - today Museum of Karen Blixen.

ENERGY GLOBE AWARDS - CLOSE 31 JULY 2007
Please allow us to remind you that the deadline for submissions for
this year´s ENERGY GLOBE Award is 31 July 2007.
Our environment is severely stricken. Only through the personal
engagement of everyone - (inter)nationally and globally - can we
achieve a positive turnaround. The basis for such a change is
provided by showcase projects that demonstrate sustainability, help
to conserve our resources, and utilize renewable energy sources. The
range of projects extends from high-tech systems (e.g., from
industry) to measures in daily life (e.g., in developing countries).
The ENERGY GLOBE, today´s most important environmental prize, is
awarded nationally (in 2006 in 96 countries) and internationally.
Winners in the categories Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Youth receive
10,000 euros in prize money.
Again in 2008, the international award will be presented in the realm
of a TV gala in the plenary room of the European parliament in
Brussels. Stars such as Leonardo di Caprio have indicated their
intention to participate. This year´s award ceremony received 190
hours of television coverage worldwide. Let us join forces to solve
our environmental problems! Participate in the ENERGY GLOBE and
present your project to a worldwide audience. No project is too large
nor any too small.
We would be pleased to receive a submission from you. -> submission
